How to Play & Master
Playing Joker Vertical requires a mix of poker knowledge and strategic planning. When you enter a battle against an enemy boss, you will see a target score you must reach (e.g., 300 points) and your current hand of cards drawn from your deck.
Your objective is to select up to 5 cards from your hand to form a valid poker hand, such as a Pair, Two Pair, Three of a Kind, Straight, or Flush. Once selected, tap the "Play" button. The game will calculate your score based on the base points of the poker hand multiplied by the specific multiplier, plus the face value of the cards played.
If your current hand doesn't have good combinations, you can select up to 5 cards and press the "Discard" button to throw them away and draw new ones. However, keep an eye on your limited number of "Plays" and "Discards" per round! You must reach the target score before you run out of Plays.
After defeating a boss, you will receive coins and enter a reward phase. Here, you can choose powerful roguelike buffs (like increasing your hand limit). You will also visit the Shop, where you can spend your coins on "Pantheon Cards" that provide permanent passive buffs (like adding multipliers to specific suits), or buy card packs to add new cards to your deck. Upgrade your favorite poker hands in the Information menu to maximize your score and climb to higher difficulties!

Touch/Mouse: Tap cards in your hand to select or deselect them. Tap the "Play" button to submit your poker hand for scoring, or tap "Discard" to replace the selected cards. Tap to choose rewards and purchase items in the shop.
